LetsJio ("we", "our", "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).

What We Collect

Anonymous Session Data

When you browse our website, we automatically collect:

  • Device ID: A randomly generated identifier stored in your browser
  • Session ID: A temporary identifier for your browsing session
  • Event Views: Which events you looked at
  • Event Clicks: Which events you clicked to see more details
  • Filter Preferences: Categories and filters you selected
  • Dwell Time: How long you viewed event details

This data is used to personalize your experience and show you more relevant events. It is not linked to your identity unless you choose to link your Telegram account.

Telegram-Linked Data

If you choose to link your Telegram account, we also store:

  • Your Telegram user ID
  • Your conversation history with our Telegram bot
  • Your saved events and preferences

How We Use Your Data

  • Personalize event recommendations based on your interests
  • Remember your filter preferences between visits
  • Improve our event discovery algorithms
  • Send you event reminders (Telegram users only, with consent)

We never sell your data to third parties or use it for advertising.

Data Retention

  • Session data: Automatically deleted after 30 days of inactivity
  • Telegram data: Retained until you request deletion via /deletedata command

Your Rights (PDPA)

Under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act, you have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of your data
  • Correction: Request corrections to inaccurate data
  • Withdrawal: Withdraw consent for data collection
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your data

Cookies & Local Storage

We use browser local storage (not traditional cookies) to store:

  • Device ID and session ID
  • Your filter preferences
  • Privacy consent status

You can clear this data at any time using your browser settings or the Your Data page.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

  • Supabase: Database hosting (Singapore region)
  • Vercel: Website hosting
  • Telegram: Bot platform (when you use our bot)
